It’s always nice to hear new music. So when Web emailed me about this track “King’s Theme” that he made, I surely wanted to share it with you.
This is what he had to say about the inspiration behind the track:
Growing up I was (and still am) a huge fan of Nas and Raekwon. I loved how they would paint these really twisted and vivid pictures of royalty/mafia/hood life and make it all come together in this massive portrait of their innermost thoughts. So basically this song is my nod to some of my favorite songs to ever come out of Hip Hop music. I always wanted to do a song like this, but I wanted to make sure I did it properly. And if I do say so myself, I think I got it with this one.

I don’t want to think about November just yet. Why? Well, because of the following: A. That means I’m one step closer to exxxtra freezing my behind off. B. Runny noses. And C. As if it’s not cold enough now, it’s gonna be even colder then! What can we conclude to? That I don’t like cold weather damn it! Melanie Fiona is a boss b*tch!
This is the first time I’ve seen her video for “It Kills Me“, with a guest appearance from Adam Rodriguez. I think that she and the song is amazing! I’ve really appreciated her talent from the start and she’s keeping me interested time after time. So go on girl, keep on amazing us! Something you should definitely watch is this “Subway Series (NYC)” (link to OnSmash) she did with New York based street performers, really cool. Her album “The Bridge” comes out November 10th, GET IT!
