Dimepiece Designs goes Aussie, with their feature in Australian magazine – Acclaim. It looks tight! All styling was done by the DimePieces themselves, Laura Fama & Ashley Jones.

Our main objective was to match what the artist was creating – key thing being the dripping of purple liquid. So, we got a ladder and poured purple condensed milk all on the side of the model. It was fun!

Married to the Mob – Holiday 2009.

Holiday season is coming up, I can’t believe it. ‘09 went by way too fast. A lot of sh*t went down this year, much of which I wish could’ve gone differently. Oh well, as much as I wish I could turn back time, I should settle with the fact that that’s NEVER gonna happen. All I can do is finish this year off in style, MOB style that is. As they drop their “Holiday 2009” collection, I’m already starting to get greedy. For the wintery days Married to the Mob gives us a range of fly jackets, cut-and-sew pieces, cashmere knitwear, denim and a whole lot more. Definitely showing their growth with each following collection. Keeping it in the fam-lay with Sarah, MTTM designer Leah McSweeney’s sister, modelling the pieces and David “Shadi” Perez shooting the entire lookbook, with whom they’ve worked before. And on a side note: I’m definitely sporting Timberland boots (high and low) and over the knee (maybe even thigh high?!!) boots this season, lets get it on!

Jeremy Scott x Longchamp “Bones” Pliage Bag.

Want this! I adore Jeremy Scott and every time he puts his own touch to a Longchamp bag I try to get my hands on it, but I’m a sec’ too late =(. It’s especially heartbreaking when you see a girl at Amsterdam Amstel train station rocking the “Floral Fights” version you wanted. Grrrr! But with a new one in line, I won’t be too late this time (seems like i’m on a rhyme fest today). Matter of fact, I just ordered mine and can’t wait to sling it over my shoulder (jumps of joy)! I’ve got a jones for bones. And Mr. Scott, you just keep ‘em coming. Beyonce ft. Lady Gaga - Video Phone (Remix)

Can you handle it? The highly anticipated video for Beyonce’s “Video Phone” (featuring Lady Gaga), shot by Hype Williams, is finally out! B’ is working it to the max. And you can definitely tell that it’s directed by Hype. I would’ve liked to see Gaga in more outfits though, and see her go all out like she always does. Maybe when it’s Gaga’s turn for her “Telephone”, where she also teamed up with BK from Texas. Time will tell… Overall, do I love it? I don’t know. But Beyonce is a boss b*tch though!

By now I think my love for Melanie Fiona is clear. It’s strong, passionate, endless and I came come up with many more words to describe it. As for her debut album “The Bridge” which she just dropped? It’s  funky, soulful, with a bit of raggae, pop and lots of other goodness that you just want to listen to on repeat. Her music gives me the heebie jeebies. And that’s a good thing! You should know “Give It To Me Right“  and ”It Kills Me” by now, but I wanted to share another song from The Bridge with you which is “Sad Songs“. I really loved the performance she did for this track with a street performer, Freddy Harris III, in a NYC subway. For now I’m gonna sit back, relax and enjoy this album. And you? MTV Diary Of… N.E.R.D (Sneak Peek)

Oh, for how I would love to catch another N.E.R.D show. The last in HMH was wayyyy too wild. Just the way I like it Although my favourite necklace got torn off, I lost an earring and got elbowed in the face (I had Pharrell’s towel in my hand for a sec..), I had a mind-blowing evening. Girls jigglin’ their stuff on stage, guys jigglin’ their stuff on stage… Humps everywhere, but I don’t remember seeing any panties though. I did see a lot of grinding up against PW and posse (embarrassing sight to see). I hope they’ll be coming back soon, with their new formation (incl. Rhea) and blow my mind all over again. And I swear, I’ll keep my panties on.

smoking aces.

Grabbed for your cigarettes, nervous, wondering where I’ve been? OR NOT haha. I wouldn’t know how it feels, I’m not a smoker.  All I know is that I’m here to share my apologies for my lack of updates (and slow, or NO, email replies), which I tend to have every once in a while. What can I say? I get busier by the day, was lacking inspiration and needed some time off. There are a lot of things I’m working on, where I am devoting my attention to atm, but don’t worry I’ll never (completely) leave you. Newness straight outta Brooklyn NYC. The Cubannie Links fall/winter 2010 collection – Inner Goddess. The collection amplifies the independence of NYC femmes behind the camera as well as featured. We all know the fab’ CL earrings and necklaces, and now we can sweeten our fingers with the “sweetwater ring” and glam up our sunny’s with “cortina” and “sombra” chains.
